This series of fine art underwater conceptual portrait images were created by combining photographs of my family members that I shot in my swimming pool with my underwater camera--with my images from abandoned buildings.  I then digitally added water droplets, sparkles and light effects. 

These art pieces represent my stepping (or more accurately, swimming) out of my comfort zone.  I'd never tried to shoot underwater.  I'm still laughing at the memory of me with the huge snorkel mask, balancing my camera while trying to breath, stay still, and compose at the same time.
